The Sando and Zombie Dog Entertainment would like to offer our apologies for any inconvienence caused by the cancellation of the Mondo Generator show at the Sando on Tuesday 17th May.
Unfortunately due to circumstances outside of the control of the venue, Nick and the promotor (Zombie Dog Entertainment), we have had to cancel the show altogether.
ONLY AUSTRALIAN SHOW!
Supported by Grand Fatal & Hytest
Presented By Zombie Dog Entertainment
Although best known for his work with Kyuss in the early ‘90s, and more so as the bassist for Queens of the Stone Age, Nick Oliveri started Monodo Generator in the late 90s as a side project to his role as basist in Queens of the Stone Age. Following his exit from the band in 2004, Nick decided to focus on Mondo as his main musical vehicle in his role as Singer and Bassist. Since the band started, they have released more than a handful of records, and their metal/punk hybrid sound has certainly attracted more than a few followers.
On the back of the hugely anticipated Kyuss Lives Tour, which has sold out at The Big Top, Nick has decided to get together with his old mates HYTEST who have toured both Australia and Europe as his band- Mondo Generator- and agreed to take the show Live, Loud and Intimate at the Sando. Adding to this killer line up, Grand Fatal should be itching to get back on stage after their Metro support gig with Against Me.
An International headliner and two loud and proud local bands, both of whom are no strangers to sharing the stage with big international acts- Monster Magnet, Hot Snakes & Grinspoon to name a few!- this is certaintly a show not to be missed.
