Friday 3rd June @ The Sando
Based in Melbourne, Hoss will be heading north this June to play a killer show at the Sando. With their unique breed of hard rock, and supported by Sando faves The New Christs and Nunchukka Superfly, this is a gig not to be missed!
Hoss have been a main stay in the Australian music scene since the 90’s, their first recorded piece was released in 1990 on 7″ Vinyl. This debut, Green was the first of 11 EP/LP release by the band over their almost two decade career, with the latest relase being the full length CD Do you Leave Here Often? in 1997. Fronted by Joel Silbersher, (Member of Tex Perkin’s Dark Horses, Dirty Three touring band, Tendrils w. Charlie Owen, Melonman, God) Hoss’s live shows are nothing less than “pure, unadulterated Rock and Roll.
Add into the mix The New Christs (fronted by Radio Birdman’s Rob Younger) who have a massive history of involvement in Australian Rock, producing 7 albums since 1988, and supporting International acts such as Iggy Pop and The Ramones, AND Nunchukka Superfly (Featuring Peter Black and Ray Ahn from the Hard-ons!) and the night becomes a “kick if you miss it” event.
Tickets are already available from the Zombie Dog Website (and are ONLY $15 +bf!!) and with the hype that surrounds these bands wherever they go, my suggestion is to get in early to avoid disappointment!
